Firebird AV ("we," "us") provides audio, video, networking, and automation services in the Santa Barbara area. This policy explains what information we collect through our website (firebirdav.com), our client portal, and the Firebird AV mobile app, and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Contact details you give us — name, email, phone number, and project address when you fill out a form, request a quote, or become a client.
• Project and service records — proposals, invoices, payments, installed equipment, service history, and communications related to your project.
• Website basics — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited). We do not sell advertising and do not use third-party ad trackers.
• Mobile app (employees) — the Firebird AV app is an internal tool used by our team. It processes work schedules, job records, time-clock entries, and push notification tokens for the signed-in employee.

How we use it

• To respond to inquiries, prepare proposals, and deliver and service your systems.
• To send invoices and process payments through our payment processors (QuickBooks Payments).
• To send project-related email you'd expect — proposals, invoices, statements, service updates. We don't send marketing blasts.

Who we share it with

We never sell your information. We share it only with the services required to run our business: payment processing (Intuit QuickBooks), email delivery, cloud data hosting (Supabase, Cloudflare, Google Workspace), and scheduling (Google Calendar). Each processes data only on our behalf.

How long we keep it

Client and project records are retained as long as we service your systems and as required for tax and contractor-law obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to those obligations.

Security

Client data lives in access-controlled systems with role-based permissions, encrypted in transit. Network credentials we hold for service purposes are stored under restricted access and released only with your written authorization.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
