10-Gig Fiber Network backbone
13 Security cameras

Third Window Brewing's Carpinteria taproom is a design-forward space where the technology had to disappear into the architecture and simply work — through a brewery rush, a packed game day, and everything in between. We engineered the entire venue around a single, fiber-based backbone so the AV, the registers, the cameras, and the Wi-Fi all run as one reliable system.

Four Sony displays anchor the room, fed from Apple TV sources for sports and content. Audio is built on Origin Acoustics — 13 pendant speakers and three subwoofers driven by Origin Pro amplifiers, with SONOS Ports providing streaming and zone control so staff can set the room from a phone. The result is even, full-range sound at a comfortable, conversation-friendly level across the entire taproom.

Underpinning everything is a 10-gigabit fiber-optic network — fiber to the street and fiber between every switch, with no copper used for switching or switch-to-switch connections. UniFi Pro Max PoE switches and U7 Pro Wi-Fi 7 access points carry it all, backed by UPS power so a brief outage never takes the business offline. One network manages the AV, the point-of-sale, the security, and everything else.

Security runs on UniFi Protect with a dedicated Protect NVR for storage and 13 cameras covering the venue — discreet, always-on, and accessible from anywhere.
